Oh Shucks

When I arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana, my first meal was one at Acme Oyster House.  Eating under the soft glow of the restaurant's neon lights, coupled with some southern hospitality put a smile on my face.  Additionally, the restaurant had oyster shucking and seafood cooking down to a science.  I ordered one dozen raw oysters.  Though Acme was busy at the time I visited, my server was cool about checking up on me every so often.  It had been a while since I had oysters, so I took my time and enjoyed the atmosphere of being in a new place filled with new sights, sounds, and aromas.

Thanks for stopping by!
